Our Story
Owner Matt started the shop from the ground up, beginning with dealership and mobile repairs. Before long, a fixed location was needed, and in 2010 he broke ground on his first shop. His wife Anna joined after their marriage and the arrival of their first son, helping grow the business. Today, DentPro Colors Auto Body serves vehicle owners throughout Clayton, Concord, Walnut Creek, Lamorinda and beyond. Dent Pro Colors works on all makes and models, from 1950 to 2027, depending on the repair.

No corporate chain or contracted shop here — just a mom-and-pop shop that’s been part of this community for more than 20 years. Owners Matt and his wife Anna, along with the rest of the DPC team, are here at your convenience to ensure fair and honest estimates, quality repairs, and a great experience. Treating every customer like family instead of a claim number is extremely important to us.
Trained, Certified & Committed to Doing It Right
We pride ourselves on being an independent shop. We purposely do not contract with insurance companies, although we accept and work with all of them. We work for you, and we’ll always fight to do what’s best and safest for our customers. That includes following OEM position statements and procedures, price-matching OEM parts whenever possible, and following up-to-date guidelines and specifications for every vehicle. ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and current vehicle technology and safety are always a top priority.
Our technicians train continually so your repair meets today’s safety and quality standards, including:
- I-CAR Certifications and Training — the collision repair industry’s recognized standard — including Steel Sectioning, Steel Welding, Administration Process Management, Estimating I, and Advanced Estimating
- PPG MVP Training Series (2007–2021), including Waterborne EHP certifications
- Ongoing continuing education, including the Mike Anderson Key Safety and Collision Repair Conference and the Collision Advice business owners series

When you visit, you’ll meet our Office and Insurance Coordinator, our technicians and the owners, and you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and a comfortable place to get a quote and book your repair. Our team will keep you informed throughout the repair process.
Matt Stevens
Owner / Technician / Estimator
Matt has always had a passion for the automotive industry and a love for fast cars. In 2001, Matt followed his dream and began his career as a young apprentice in the automotive industry. Driven by curiosity and a desire to master his craft, he quickly learned everything he could and continued building his knowledge, skills, and experience.
In 2007, Matt took the next step in his journey by purchasing the franchise of DentPro Corp., DentPro Colors, Inc. Nearly 20 years later, he continues to live out his dream as the owner of an independently operated auto body and collision repair shop.
Matt is committed to ongoing education and professional development, regularly expanding his expertise through I-Car certification programs. He takes pride in providing quality repairs and helping ensure that every customer and vehicle that leaves his shop is safe and road-ready.
After meeting his wife, Anna, in their 20s, they quickly developed a shared passion for cars and business. Twenty years later, their partnership has grown into a beautiful family of four.
Together, they have two children and love spending time as a family—camping, racing dirt bikes, and spending countless hours cheering on their sons at the soccer fields. Through all the adventures, their greatest joy continues to be creating memories and enjoying family time together.
Anna Stevens
Owner / Estimator / Business Coordinator
Anna’s passion for helping customers and keeping the business running smoothly keeps her engaged and busy at DentPro Colors. Her skill set is broad and includes estimating, insurance claim handling, customer care, and the many day-to-day needs and requirements of owning and managing the business.
With her dedication, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Anna plays an important role in ensuring both our valued customers and business are well taken care of.
Together, Matt and Anna make a fantastic team, combining their unique skills, dedication, and passion for what they do. They take pride in providing a well-maintained, personal “mom-and-pop shop” experience where customers are treated like family. Their hands-on approach and commitment to quality service are at the heart of what makes DentPro Colors special.
In their “free” time, Matt and Anna enjoy spending time with their sons and family, dining out, attending car shows, and exploring all that California has to offer. From the mountains to new adventures outdoors, they love making memories together, including with their two dogs, Buzz and Roxy, a Dachshund and Lab, always along for the ride.
